A majority of Canadians oppose sending troops in Afghanistan, a new poll shows. The poll, conducted by The Strategic Counsel for The Globe and Mail and CTV News shows a gradual decline in support for the mission during 2006, stabilizing at 40 percent support through 2007 and early 2008.
