This privacy statement outlines the privacy practices of the Human Security Research Group (HSRG), operating as the . The HSRG is committed to protecting the privacy of those individuals who visit and interact with our websites. We manage and protect personal information according to provisions in British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act.

The HSRG is the sole owner of the information collected on or through its websites and other forms of  communication. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others. The HSRP collects information from our users at several different points on our websites.

The HSRG uses two U.S. subscription services, and Feedblitz, to manage our email subscribers. While we believe that they have responsible privacy practices, we are not responsible for the content and practices of these, or any other, external internet sites. We use statistical software to analyze activity on our websites to help us manage and improve our services. We receive aggregated statistical information and do not track the website usage of individual people, companies, or domains.
