The July-August of the Journal of International Peace Operations focuses on the NATO-led international mission in Afghanistan. Topics include police reform, governance, development, human rights, humanitarian aid delivery, military strategy and tactics, and the role of private security companies. The journal is published by the International Peace Operations Association, a Washington-based lobby for defence contractors.
